  • Yara shares fall well short of analysts' expectations after Q2 results

Yara dropped 2.3% to 443.6 NOK after Q2 2026 figures that missed market expectations by a wide margin. Adjusted EBITDA was $906m versus a consensus of $1.13bn, despite the margin rising 400 basis points to 20.5%. The main reason was a 17% decline in plant nutrition sales volume to 5.2m tonnes, with particularly large losses in Africa and Asia (-28%) and unplanned production outages. Analysts had already pared expectations (Jefferies from Buy to Hold), and the stock trades about 26% below its 52-week high. » More on de.investing.com

Yara plans to integrate the facility into its midstream ammonia platform, serving external customers and its own needs to boost operational resilience; the purchase increases planned 2026 investments and results in a pro-forma net debt/EBITDA of 1.73. » More on de.investing.com
