Zentek moves to the OTC Markets after Nasdaq delisting

Zentek announced that its common shares will move from the Nasdaq Capital Market to the OTC Markets Group effective September 2, 2026, after failing to meet Nasdaq’s minimum bid price requirement. The company said it will request a hearing to contest the delisting, which will not prevent the suspension of trading. The shares will remain listed on the TSX Venture Exchange under the symbol ZEN and shareholders do not need to take any action. Zentek receives standing-offer contract from the Government of Canada for ZenGUARD air filters

Zentek has been awarded a standing-offer contract with the Government of Canada to supply HVAC filters, including the ZenGUARD Enhanced Air Filter, for federal sites in the National Capital Region. The contract runs from August 19, 2026, to August 18, 2027, with a maximum value of 348,666.84 CAD and pre-set prices for ministry call-ups. National Research Council of Canada tests showed about a fivefold improvement in aerosol filtration performance; a pilot project yielded 22% lower fan energy use versus conventional MERV-13 pleated filters. In May 2026 ZenGUARD was added to Innovative Solutions Canada’s “Pathway to Commercialization” procurement list, listing Zentek as a potential exclusive supplier for federal sites, without a minimum purchase guarantee. » More on de.investing.com
Zentek files provisional patent application for electromagnetic shielding coating

Zentek has filed a provisional application with the US Patent Office for ZEN-EMI-01, a water-based shielding coating made from Albany graphite, ferrite particles and a conductive polymer. Internal tests showed that a thin layer predominantly attenuates microwaves in the 8–12 GHz band by absorption; these results have not been independently verified. The filing establishes a priority date and starts a twelve-month period for international filings; the development program includes third-party testing, formulation optimization, qualification tests and scale-up, so far without customer contracts. » More on de.investing.com
